Bannerus Instructionus

I have inserted the instructions for Banner painting on to this post, as well as the Olympic Motto and Olympic Values, which our Banner must somehow embody. Anyone interested in doing up a design?



We really need to get this done ASAP. Deadline is 10 March, but it would so much easier if we could get it done by Fri, 6th March.

If you have some design idea that you want to share, feel free to just post up on this blog.

One House. One Dream.

As you may already very well know, VOG is coming up.


Oh, so you don't know.

The Victorian Olympic Games - VOG for short - is the theme for this year's Sports Day, now rechristened Games Day. And as is customary of all J1 classes, a class banner has to be painted in honour of the House that they belong to. This banner shall be hung in some obscure area where no one will probably see anyway. Or it could be hung in a place where the public eye can be blinded by the overwhelming glare of its magnificence. Or end up being ridiculed and humiliated by the cruel high standards of Victorian aesthetics.

The gist of the post is this - We have to start painting the damn thing now. Any volunteers for design? And our dear House noms, please galvanize the class to participate enthusiastically in this painting exercise. And we also need black cloth.

Hi, if you are reading this, means you have managed to find the 09s41 class blog. Anyway, first things first, to all 09s41 people, this is where announcements and reminders will be posted, so please do visit this site often.

The blog is using a preset template right now, but I will be changing it soon once I can find a functional and nice enough template from blogskins. Unless of course one of you has some mad Dreamweaver-ing skills to make a whole new template. Feel free to show me some designs if you like.

I will be inviting all of you (that is 09s41) to be contributors to this blog through your email, so you guys can post your own announcements and reminders if you wish to. You can also post random stuff like photos if you want. Be creative.

Anyway, that is all I have to say for now. Will be writing here to keep you people updated about changes to the blog and other random announcements and reminders I get from Ms. Wu or I forgot to tell you all in school.
